I've been pretty damn exhausted lately with AI and the perpetual scrolling habits of our time with short-form content. So, I'm gonna start a new journey of something I used to love and do a lot of. Creative writing.

Where am I going with this?

Honestly, don't know. Welcome to the wild ride. All I do know is that I'm tired and need a place to jot down my thoughs and release my creativity without thinking about it too hard. Also, I'm not using stuff like Grammarly or LanguageTool or ProWritingAid, I'm just writing directly into Ghost and hopefully over time I'll get better at the writing process.

Do you even have any writing cred?

Not really, back in community college I got 2nd place in creative writing competition, which was cool. And in high school I used to do a lot of planning and writing for my friends and I's Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. I figure after almost 8 years of not opening a doc to just write, I'd start here. In my little corner.

Other thoughts.

One thing I am also really sick of is sitting in the background all quiet like. My friends have been on Instagram and other socials saying what they fucking feel and I hella respect that. So I'm doing that now too.

I'm a leftist. Fuck capitalism. I'm trans and gay. My name is Bea E. Hrnja, my pronouns are she/her and I do not apologize if you don't like what I just said. Fuck you.

That felt better.

Okay back to the whole writing thing. Yeah, so, let's try some creative writing here and there. I have some wild stories I've thought of over the years, but just never put down on paper. I'm going to set an easy goal of one post every two weeks here because I am easily overwhelmed. Though, that number will increase over time. Its just a precaution so I don't burnout and stuff.
